Taxpayers could check the status of their applications at any time, providing a more transparent and user-friendly experience.

PUTRAJAYA – The Inland Revenue Board (IRB) introduces the e-Rayuan service for withholding tax collection, now accessible online via the MyTax portal.

In a statement today, the IRB said taxpayers could submit appeal applications or enquiries under the individual role, while company directors could do so under the director role or by appointing a representative.

According to the IRB, taxpayers could access MyTax by clicking the login menu and selecting the role of individual, director or director’s representative, followed by ezHasil services, e-Rayuan, e-Rayuan collection, and then withholding tax (WHT), or refer to the e-Rayuan collection user manual upon logging into the portal.

"Taxpayers can submit appeals, applications and enquiries more easily and quickly compared with the previous method, which was handled via the Customer Feedback Form.

"This service covers various matters, including applications for payment adjustments, remission of increase, waivers, refunds, as well as enquiries related to withholding tax,” it said.

In addition, the IRB said taxpayers could check the status of their applications at any time, providing a more transparent and user-friendly experience.
