KTMB group chief executive officer Datuk Azlan Shah Al Bakri said response towards previous additional train services during Chinese New Year and Hari Raya Aidilfitri had been encouraging, especially for high-demand routes in the Johor Bahru sector.

He said the government initiative through the Road to Rail campaign had also positively impacted efforts to encourage the public to use public transport, especially train services which were safer, more comfortable and efficient.
