When contacted by Bernama, Nordin Ahmad Ismail confirmed receiving the suspension letter.

"Yes, it is true; it's confirmed (I received the suspension letter). The reason (for the suspension) was attending a programme hosted by someone who has already been expelled," he said, referring to the "Reset" programme organised by former Bersatu Deputy President, Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin.

Nordin added that the involved leaders might meet in the near future to coordinate their next steps before deciding whether to file an appeal within the 14-day period allowed by the party.

Abdul Khalib, whose service as Pahang Bersatu Chief was previously terminated, stated that he received the suspension notice via WhatsApp around 6pm today.

Khlir Mohd Nor also confirmed receiving his notice and expressed acceptance of the party’s decision. - BERNAMA
