NOT every memorable concert needs a massive stadium or thousands of screaming fans. Sometimes, the best music experiences happen in more intimate spaces where every note, lyric and moment feels personal.
That is the idea behind Spotlight KLCC Series, a newly curated live entertainment showcase byHiFive Entertainment in collaboration with Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), which is set to transform the city's live entertainment landscape with a series of premium, close-up performances featuring some of Malaysia's most celebrated artists.
Taking place at the Plenary Theatre, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, the series promises audiences an elevated concert experience through immersive performances, quality production and a more personal connection between artists and fans.
Designed for music lovers seeking something beyond the conventional concert format, the initiative also strengthens KLCC's position as a destination for curated entertainment experiences in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
The first chapter of the series will feature six performances across two dates, Aug 22 and Sept 12 showcasing a diverse line-up of established and rising Malaysian talents including Aizat Amdan, SOG, Orked Farhan, Iman Troye, Imran Ajmain and Noryn Aziz.
Project director Mike Manicka said the series was created with the belief that exceptional entertainment experiences should be accessible to a wider audience.
"With Spotlight KLCC Series, our mission has always been to prove that exceptional cultural experiences don't require massive venues or prohibitive ticket prices.
"We are deeply committed to championing intimate, small-scale shows that offer audiences a premium, sophisticated ambiance while remaining affordable and accessible to everyone.
"The incredible response we've received so far only fuels our passion, and we are thrilled to announce that we will officially unveil Chapter Two of this journey in July 2026 to bring even more curated, high-quality performances to life," he said.
Beyond the music, the series also aims to serve as a cultural platform that connects artists, local brands and communities through shared experiences.
Organisers said future editions will expand beyond live music and feature other forms of entertainment, including stand-up comedy performances and creative showcases.
The Aug 22 line-up will kick off with Aizat Amdan at 1.30pm, followed by SOG at 4.30pm and Orked Farhan at 8.30pm.
On Sept 12, audiences can catch Iman Troye at 1.30pm, Imran Ajmain at 4.30pm and Noryn Aziz at 8.30pm.
Standard tickets for most performances are priced at RM150, while premium tickets with meet-and-greet access are available from RM200. Noryn Aziz's showcase will feature ticket prices starting from RM180 for standard admission and RM260 for premium access.
Whether you're a long-time fan or simply looking for a different kind of night out, Spotlight KLCC Series is shaping up to be a new stage for live entertainment where music, atmosphere and connection take centre stage.
