Previously, media outlets reported claims that individuals of Rohingya ethnicity had illegally constructed a four-story, flat-like residence in the area.

The revelation was made by 50-year-old radio presenter and actor Azad Jasmin, popularly known as Pak Azad. He happened to pass by the road before recording a video showcasing the suspicious condition of the flat.

The viral video depicted a multi-story residence featuring corridor walkways covered with zinc roofing, poorly plastered brick walls, and haphazardly connected water pipes and electrical wiring.
