KUANTAN - Pahang Pakatan Harapan (PH) has announced its new leadership line-up for 2026 to strengthen cooperation and preparations for the upcoming 16th General Election (GE16).
The Pahang PH secretariat in a statement said that during its annual general meeting held today, Pahang PKR State Leadership Council chairman Datuk Ahmad Farhan Fauzi was appointed as the new state PH chairman.
According to the secretariat, Pahang DAP chairman Lee Chin Chen and Pahang Amanah chairman Mohd Fadzli Mohd Ramly were appointed as deputy chairman I and II, respectively.
Also listed in the new line-up is Pahang PKR information chief Datuk Dr Suhaimi Ibrahim as secretary, while Pahang PKR election director Dr Sim Chon Siang has been appointed as treasurer.
In addition, Adnan Mohamed Lazim from PKR was appointed as election director, Ibrahim Sulaiman from Amanah as communications and information director, and Rizal Jamin from PKR as strategy director.
"The appointment of this new leadership line-up is believed to be able to strengthen the organisational structure of Pahang PH to ensure that the party's work at all levels can be carried out in a more orderly, focused, and people-centric manner," the statement said.
The secretariat said the meeting also outlined several key agendas, including mobilising all component parties to organise machinery and implement activities in all constituencies to ensure optimum readiness for GE16.
It said Pahang PH will also assist in the Johor and Negeri Sembilan state election campaigns as a manifestation of unity and cooperation at the national level.
"PH will continue to focus on strengthening relations between the leadership and the grassroots, enhancing machinery readiness, and expanding information work and community service throughout the state," it said.
At the same time, Pahang PH expressed its appreciation and gratitude to the previous leadership for their service, contributions, and commitment in leading and strengthening PH in the state. BERNAMA
