KUALA LUMPUR – Motorists can now pay tolls using their vehicle number plate via JustGo across toll lanes throughout the PLUS Highway network, without a physical card or device.

Under the system, Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras read a vehicle's number plate and match it to the vehicle registered to a JustGo account, after which the toll payment is automatically processed through the linked payment method.

To use the service, motorists must download the JustGo application and register, providing the following:

  • Their National Registration Identity Card (NRIC) details for identity verification.
  • A debit or credit card to link to their account.
  • Their Vehicle Ownership Certificate, obtained through the MyJPJ application, together with the required vehicle verification details.

Currently, JustGo supports Class 1 vehicles, including private cars, SUVs, MPVs and small pick-up trucks.

Once registered and the vehicle's ANPR status is active, motorists are not restricted to a dedicated payment lane and can use any toll lane at participating plazas. JustGo refers to this as #Lane Freedom.

Payment is deducted through the linked account and there is no registration fee.

The ANPR-based toll payment service is currently available at 93 toll plazas and 966 lanes across the network.

It covers the North-South Expressway, New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), North-South Expressway Central Link (ELITE), Butterworth-Kulim Expressway (BKE), Penang Bridge, Seremban-Port Dickson Highway (SPDH) and LINKEDUA.

At Bandar Cassia Toll Plaza, however, only the RFID lane is currently activated for JustGo use. The U-turn lane at Tanjung Kupang Toll Plaza is also not currently available for JustGo use.

Motorists are reminded to observe the speed limit when approaching and passing through toll plazas. Those who need help at the toll plaza can use the intercom.
