KUALA LUMPUR - Pas president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang visited former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad at his residence on Sunday morning.
In a Facebook post, Hadi said he shared a hadith of Prophet Muhammad with the statesman.
"I shared with Tun a hadith of Prophet Muhammad:
'Indeed, to Allah belongs what He takes and to Him belongs what He gives. Everything has an appointed time. So be patient and seek the reward from Allah," he said.
The visit was also attended by Pas secretary-general Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan and Bachok Member of Parliament Mohd Syahir Che Sulaiman.
Hadi also prayed that Dr Mahathir would continue to be granted strength and patience, and remember to pray for his wife, the late Tun Dr Hasmah Mohamad Ali, so that she would continue to receive blessings.
"May Tun continue to be patient and always pray for Tun Hasmah, so that she may continue to receive blessings, Insya Allah," he said.
