KOTA BHARU -- The Kelantan government have denied logging activities have disrupt tiger habitats that led the animals roaming in Pos Bihai، Gua Musang.

Kelantan deputy mentri besar Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah said the allegations should not have come us there were previous cases of tigers appearing in areas where there is no logging.

"If you want to investigate and find the cause، that is good but don't make quick conclusions.

"It is as if because of logging that the tigers came out.

"That is not true، '' he said to reporters after chairing the state EXCO meeting here at the Kota Darul Naim complex today.

He was asked to comment on a group of Orang Asli from Gua Musang that has sent a memorandum to the Prime Minister's office for the government to find means to ensure the safety of the orang Asli in the aforementioned read from threats of wild animals.

They opined that various incidents could occur if the government did not immediately stop logging activities that is claimed to be the cause that disrupted the tiger's ecosystem.

Commenting further Mohd Amar said investigation and research can be done and steps have been taken by relevant agencies to ensure the situation remains stable.
