SHAH ALAM - The mother of Daniel Iskandar, the 19-year old teenager who was 'bathed like a corpse' by the mosque committees said she was ready to forgive those who did that to her son.

The video of the incident on Jan 8 which was recorded by the committees has since went viral on social media.

Jasma Rosli, 41, said as human beings, everyone makes mistakes.

"I have no problem with anyone, if they are willing to apologise... Alhamdulillah, I hope the judge's suggestion would serve as a lesson for all of us.

"I admit that this had happened due negligence on part of the parents which has caused the children to go astray," she said when met outside the court after the proceedings, today.

After the incident, Jasma said she will let her son decide whether he wanted to stay with his grandfather in Kuang, Rawang.

She added that she had given Daniel a chance to find the right path and not to rebel like he used to.

Daniel who was the eldest out of three siblings lives with his grandfather after his parents' divorce, eight years ago.
