Mukhriz invites all to join prayers and Yassin recital for Dr M's health and protection

SHAH ALAM - Kedah Religious School Principals Association will hold a solat hajat and Yassin recital for former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad tonight at 8pm.

Jerlun MP Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir posted a public invitation on his Instagram account about the virtual programme, welcoming all to participate and join the live session on Kelab Che Det and Mukhriz Mahathir FC Facebook pages.

The ceremony will be led by Al Fadzil Ustaz Jamil Sadaqi Murshid, Mudir Sekolah Menengah Agama Nadhah Hasamah, Melele, Kedah.

“The solat hajat and Yassin recital is to pray for the health and protection from Allah SWT for my father Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, our beloved nationalist.

“Hopefully with your presence, this programme will run smoothly with the sincere intentions because of Allah SWT,” he said.

Mukhriz is also the Parti Pejuang Tanah Air President, while Mahathir is the party’s chairman and also Langkawi MP.
