SHAH ALAM - Senior Education Minister Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin has urged parents to take the opportunity to get their children, aged five to 11 years old, to be vaccinated.

In a Facebook post, Radzi said he was satisfied with the PICKids vaccination process, calling it "fast and orderly" after he took his youngest son to be vaccinated at the IOI Mall vaccination centre earlier today.

“Overall, it took us less than an hour and this includes queueing to register, all the way to the monitoring session,” he said in his post.

The appointment-based PICKids programme began on Feb 3, with booking links currently being released in stages on the MySejahtera app for parents or guardians in the Klang Valley that have already registered on behalf of their children.

An estimated four million children are eligible to receive the vaccine.

To date, 484,639 children aged five to 11 have registered on MySejahtera.
