Syed Saddiq to overseas voters: Five minutes of your time in exchange for five years of Johor's future

Taking his message to social media, Syed Saddiq, who is also the Muar MP has posted a short 41-second video to explain how Johor voters abroad can participate in the state’s most important democratic process.
With a simple message that eager Johoreans, who may not have the necessary means to return home, only need to take five minutes out of their time to register for postal voting online and influence the fate of the state for the next five years.
Syed Saddiq boils it down to three simple steps, starting with simply logging on to the MYSPR website, then clicking the option for postal voting and finally choosing the option of overseas voters in the application form.
“It is as simple as one, two, three. Five minutes of your time, five years worth of change for the state of Johor,’’ he said in the video that is posted on all his social media platforms.
Syed Saddiq’s message is in tandem with the advent of new voters, nearly 750,000 alone for Johor with the implementation of Undi18 and automatic voter registration,
Similarly, the Undi18 movement had recently launched the Ops Undi Johor, as means to help some 200,000 Malaysians working in Singapore register for postal voting.
Ops Undi Johor has also launched a fund to help sponsor overseas Johor voters to return to vote.
