He is one of the three candidates announced by Muda.

SHAH ALAM: Muda has announced three of its candidate for the coming Johor polls amid tensions with PKR over contesting at winnable seats.

Human rights lawyer Lim Wei Jiet will be contesting in Tenang, Nurariqah M Zulkifli in Bukit Kepong Azrol Rahani in Bukit Permai. The announcement was made by Party President Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman or Party Secretary-General Amira Aisya.

In a statement, Muda said all three candidates are active in politics, with a focus on shaping a just and fair state hor Joheroeans. It also thanked the opposition for supporting Muda as it aims to develop the southern state further.

Muda, a new party registered in December will go head on with PKR, BN, Pejuang at these three state seats. It is not known if Warisan who had thrown in the hat to contest in Johor polls will contest at these seats.



PKR had recently said their discussions with Muda on seat negotiations were over after talks between the two came to a sudden halt. Subsequently, PKR.announced all 20 of its candidates for the Johor polls,
