KLUANG – Despite the perception that BN will win the March 12 Johor polls, it is facing uncertainties to read the sentiment of 750,000 new voters.

Due to that, Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan, the Johor BN election director, said they have asked their machinery to canvas for votes more diligently.

In Melaka state election, Mohamad commonly known as Tok Mat said they were able to predict at least 18 seats won by BN at the early stages of the election.

“Even during the Melaka election, by day two, I could tell that BN could easily win 18 seats but in Johor, I still can’t get a good reading, especially among new voters,’’ he said.

Tok Mat had previously stated that the increase of new voters is a major problem for all political parties, not just BN.
