SHAH ALAM - Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari has tested positive for Covid-19 following an RT-PCR test last night.

Amirudin would undergo self-quarantine for seven days following health requirements set by the health ministry and return to work on March 8, said Selangor Menteri Besar press secretariate in a statement.

The statement further said Amirudin apologises for the inconvenience and requested anyone who was in contact with him within the last 48 hours to undergo Covid-19 test.

"Let us pray for the health of his family and all those who are also affected by the Covid-19 infection," the statement added. - Bernama
