'Who helped Felda should not be the issue, says Umno's Zahidi as Johor polls heats up

This comes after Bersatu's Azmin Ali challenged ex-prime minister Najib Razak to an open debate on Felda last week.
The Deputy Minister of Communications and Multimedia said all political parties, in particular Barisan Nasional government, had played some role in assisting Felda settlers since its early days.
"Not necessarily Azmin or Najib as Felda has been in existence for a long time and we have helped a lot, including me when I was part of the Felda committee.
"So during this election, it is not about who helped who,” he said at a BN campaign programme for the Panti state constituency in Bandar Tenggara Utara here tonight. Also present was the BN candidate for Panti, Hahasrin Hashim.
