Early voting so far shows BN taking the lead with 34 out of 56 seats.

JOHOR BAHRU: Early voting in the state shows BN was taking the lead in 34 out of 56 seats.
Unofficial results also showed Marina Ibrahim leading in Skudai while Muda's Lim Wei Jiet is leading in Tenang.
DAP's giant Liew Chin Tong is leading in Perling while results in a six-cornered fight in Puteri Wangsa is still unknown.
Even though the results are slowly trickling in, Umno's Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki was the first to claim that his party is leading with 34 seats.
The Election Commission said only 50 percent had turned up for voting as of 5pm.
Opposition previously said a low voter turn out may favour BN.
