JOHOR BAHARU - Angkatan Muda Keadilan (AMK) chief Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir claimed that the electricity supply at the polling centre for the Larkin state seat went off during the vote counting process.

According to him, the Election Commission (EC) informed that the electricity supply at the Taman Century Assembly Hall went off after the generator stopped operating.

"I was told that they started started counting at the Taman Century Assembly Hall despite the blackout. The polling agent and counting agent are fighting to ask for a countdown.

"How could this happen in 2022?," he wrote in a tweet, today.

However, Akmal had in a separate tweet said the generator has been turned on again and the counting process continued.
