SHAH ALAM - Recently sacked Pas central committee secretary has revealed cooperation talks between PN and PH in a bid to fight BN.

Datuk Mohd Khairuddin Aman Razali At-Takiri who is also the Kuala Nerus Parliament Member stated that this proposal, however, was shot down by the Islamist party due to their principles.

He stated that in the world of politics where anything is possible, a PN would snag a few more seats against BN if PN negotiated seats with PH.

For example, Khairuddin referred to the Bukit Pasir seat in the Johor state election where the number of votes garnered by PN (5,850) and PH (4,676) could amount to a victory against BN’s 6,048 votes.

He also said that the Serom state seat also stands a chance to win if the votes from PN (7,808) are added to PH (5,509) against BN’s 8,507 votes.

In the Tenggaroh assembly seat, PN (9172) and PH (1529) can defeat BN’s 10,528 votes.

“I understand that there was a proposal like this before the Johor State Election but it was rejected by PAS due to principle.

“If this is true, hopefully, no one tries to throw this suggestion a second time in order to achieve a seat victory,” he posted on his official Facebook page on March 13.

He also commented that unprincipled politics may cause problems later on since enemies can become friends and friends can become opponents in order to achieve a goal.

The post has garnered the attention of the public due to the history of Pas which left Pakatan Rakyat since the political party was not able to get along with DAP.

On Jan 25, Shah Alam UMNO division chief, Datuk Azhari Shaari mentioned his confusion about Pas focusing on BN but not on PH in this Johor State Election.

He stressed that Pas' action was as if BN was their main enemy when it was already acknowledged that their main enemy was DAP and PH.
