SHAH ALAM - Dewan Rakyat Tan Sri Azhar Azizan Harun says he will take note of an opposition's concern over ministers not attending the Dewan Rakyat sitting today.
He was replying to RSN Rayer (PH-Jelutong) who had raised the question.
“Johor state election has ended, Umno general assembly has ended but why are ministers not attending the Parliament sitting?” asked Rayer.
He then praised the deputy ministers at the Parliament today, adding that they must be rewarded with additional salaries as for replying to questions on behalf of the ministers.
He proposed to pay additional wages for deputy ministers with money deducted from ministers allowances for not attending the sitting.
His suggestion was supported by MPs.
