SHAH ALAM - The Iftar Ala Madinah @ Karangkraf programme will offer the public an opportunity to break fast the way the Prophet SAW did during the holy month of Ramadan.

The programme, held from April 4 to May 2, is in collaboration with Sinar Harian, Karya Bestari and Warisan Ummah Ikhlas (WUIF).

Chief operating officer and project manager Firdaus Hussamuddin said it's aim is to break fast and to be able to eat for free for the whole month.

The programme is especially for those affected by the pandemic.

“Those who would like to bring their own food to share are welcomed to do so.

"Rest assured that men and women will be separated at the event,'' she told Sinar Harian today.

Firdaus also said religious talks (tazkirah) will also be held at the venue.

"Imams from Karya Bestari and WUIF will take turns every day to lead Maghrib and Taraweeh prayers," she added.
