SHAH ALAM - PKR to launch “Ayuh Malaysia” campaign in a bid to attract on the fence voters as the 15th General Election draws closer.

PKR's Permatang Pauh MP Nurul Izzah Anwar said this initiative was not organised by the party but driven by the young leaders of PKR in hopes of attracting various segments of society.

She said Ayuh Malaysia will be a platform for the party’s youth leaders to champion policies that focuses on problem-solving.

The campaign will be launched 8pm tonight (March 26) at VIDA, Bukit Ceylon Kuala Lumpur, that will be streamed live on Nurul Izzah’s Facebook page.

“We will present the five core policies that should be given attention to by the community in order to solve societal issues such as unemployment, cost of living and housing among others.

“We hope these ideas presented by Ayuh Malaysia can revive the spirit of the people to continue to strive to bring Malaysia,” she said in a Facebook posting.

She said the figures include PKR vice-president Rafizi Ramli, Setiawangsa MP Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad, MP Johor Bahru Akmal Nasir, Tanjung Malim MP Chang Lih Kan, former Kapar MP Manivanan Gowin and Semambu Assemblyman Lee Chean Chung.

Meanwhile, Nurul Izzah said they also welcomed volunteers; people who want to continue the momentum for change and participate in reaching out to voters who were still on the fence by playing a role in digital campaigns, Counting Agents and election volunteers.

The movement, she said, also plans to give a new life to PKR and Pakatan Harapan with special emphasis on small margin seats where the opposition faces stiff competition.

She said there will also be political discussions and campaigns focused on finding solutions to main societal problems through the proliferation of policies and implementations.
