PKR polls: Manivannan gunning for VP post

SHAH ALAM - Former Kapar MP G.Manivannan will be contesting the PKR vice president post during the party election in May.

He said this in a video uploaded on his Facebook page.

He further said PKR is a multi-racial political party that defends the rights and interests of all Malaysians,

“PKR is a multi-racial political party that defends the rights and future interests of every human being in this country,” he said.

The reformasi party, he added will look to improve the welfare of the rakyat, to defend the rights and interests of people, including veterans, women, and young leaders from Peninsula, Sabah and Sarawak.

He further said Malaysia is a multi-racial country and this "wealth of Malaysia" needs to be celebrated, however he cautioned over how politicians have been dividing the country through the racial lens.

The vocal former MP further asked the rakyat to vote in those who will serve the people, nation, and country with dedication, and credibility.

“Therefore, leaders who are principled, committed and loyal to the struggle, should be given space and opportunity,” he said.
