Man escapes death as his truck falls off flyover
SHAH ALAM - A driver of a shipping container escaped death by sheer luck on Tuesday after his truck fell off 12 metres down from a flyover and smashed into two lorries, in Pulau Indah, Klang.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Norazam Khamis said in the 1.15pm incident, the victim who sustained injuries was rushed to the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital.
“There were no deaths involved in the accident. It was probably a near death experience (for the victims), but they survived,” he told Sinar Daily.
However, he said the condition of the driver was still uncertain.
At press time, the cause of the accident was still unknown.
The incident was recorded by drivers who were at the scene and videos of the incident had went viral on social media.
