SHAH ALAM - Malaysia reports 12,017 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, according to data published by the Health Ministry (MoH), bringing the total number to 4,268,486.

Yesterday, 13,328 Covid cases were reported.

The ministry also recorded 33 fatalities due to Covid-19, including 10 brought-in-dead (BID) cases.

This brings the total death rate to 35,160 since 2020.

Yesterday, 8,447 active cases were reported, bringing a total number to 171,172 active cases with 3,423 being hospitalised while another 167,130 cases were quarantined at home.
