Bambam, the K-pop star who is a member of the Korean boy band GOT7, has become the first Asian singer to be selected as global ambassador for the NBA Golden State Warriors (GSW) team.

To heat things up, the 24-year-old is also set to perform at an NBA game show.

The performance will take place during the halftime match between the NBA Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers, held at the Chase Centre in San Fransisco, United States.

"It's an honor to meet world-class players. I'm looking forward to perform in front of NBA basketball fans and the finest players in the world."
