Covid cases dip to 10,177 cases, 21 fatalities in the last 24 hours

SHAH ALAM - Malaysia recorded 10,177 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours as compared to 14,944 cases yesterday, indicating a drop in cases.

Meanwhile, over 2,964 are hospitalised with 87 patients in intensive care unit (ICU) and 108 patients requiring ventilator support.

There were 21 deaths with zero brought-in-dead (BID) cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total death to 35,280 since the pandemic began.

Currently, there are 153,463 active cases with 149,994 (97.7 per cent) undergoing home quarantine.

Klang Valley and Selangor recorded the highest number of Covid-19 infections with 7,952 and 7,059 respectively in the last seven days.

The country has reported 4,317,706 Covid-19 in total since the pandemic began.
