Education ministry to resolve issues over contract teachers

KUALA LUMPUR - Contract of teachers expiring in June will be attended to and resolved immediately, said Education Minister Datuk Radzi Jidin.
Radzi in a post on his Facebook and Twitter account today said the matter was raised through comments made in his social media account recently.
"I have instructed that this matter be given attention and resolved immediately. Education ministry and Education Service Commission are taking appropriate action in accordance with the existing rules and procedures,” he said.
An announcement would be made once the process was completed, he added.
Radzi said his ministry was concerned over issues raised by stakeholders on education and was committed to do the best for the education sector. - Bernama
