Ku Li's cooperation with Amanah to take over Kelantan 'common", claims PAS

TUMPAT - Kelantan PAS has said political cooperation between Umno's Gua Musang MP Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah or Ku Li with Kelantan Amanah to take over the state's administration on the 15th general election (GE15) is "common".

Kelantan Pas Commissioner Datuk Ahmad Yakob said any political party can cooperate with one another as it is not against the country's constitution.

“This is normal and any party may do so as long it feels right, ” he said after when asked to comment on cooperation between Ku Li and Amanah.

Ahmad, the Pasir Pekan assemblyman had earlier had a Hari Raya Aidilfitri Open House at his home in Kampung Alor Pasir here.

Ahmad added his Islamic party is in the midst of preparing for GE15 and any preparations are being carried out according to the party's top leadership.

Umno Vice President Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid has so far said the veteran leader's action who held a meeting with the opposition party was only known through the media. On April 29, Sinar Harian had reported a joint discussion without Umno's knowledge was held.
