The Wacana English Edition special episode in collaboration with the European Union is set to be streamed at 10am on May 9.

SHAH ALAM – Just two more days until the premiere of Wacana English Edition special episode in collaboration with the European Union is set to be streamed.

The programme, titled “Global Challenges in a Multipolar World” will be broadcasted live from Karangkraf’s Studio F, here, from 10am to 11.30am on Monday (May 9) in conjunction with Europe Day.

Co-organised with Universiti Malaya’s (UM) Asia Europe Institute, the panelists include UM Asia-Europe Institute Economic lecturer Datuk Prof Dr Rajah Rasiah, former Malaysian Foreign Minister Tan Sri Syed Hamid Albar and EU Ambassador to Malaysia Michail Rokas.

Sinar Daily editor Tasnim Lokman said a variety of topics would be discussed during the programme including the EU-Asean relations, their roles in the Indo-Pacific region as well as trade and commerce matters.

“Other than that, the situation on Asean relationship with others will also be discussed such as the situation in Myanmar,” she said.

The progamme will be moderated by UM’s Dr Rahul Mishra, a senior lecturer and coordinator at the Asia-Europe Institute.

A keynote speech will be delivered by Czech Republic Ambassador to Malaysia Milan Hupcej before the dialogue begins and it will end with a question and answer (Q&A) session.
