SHAH ALAM - It was 2014 when people started taking note of student activist Fahmi Zainol when he defied orders to cancel an event with Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

The social justice student from Penang stood what he believed in - to give voice to the opposition as a check and balance to strengthen the country's institutions.

He was eventually served with a disciplinary notice. He will be competing against Adam Adli, also an ex-student activist from Penang who was expelled for 5 years from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris for his involvement in various protest.

Who will win the post?
