SHAH ALAM - Ahead of the debate programme the former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim tonight, the two figures express their readiness through posts on their respective social media.

Najib on his Facebook page had uploaded a picture of himself, complete with boxer’s gloves to show that he was ready for the face-off tonight.

“Ready. See you in the ring," he said.

On Wednesday, Anwar also gave the opportunity for Malaysians to submit questions to Najib ahead of the debate.

He said the public could state their questions through his official Twitter account.

The debate programme will take place tonight at the MATIC Auditorium at 9pm, with questions expected to focus on Sapura Energy Bhd and possibly about the future of Malaysia.

The public can watch the debate live on Astro Awani, Sinar Harian’s Facebook, Malaysia Gazette and Sin Chew Daily.
