KUALA SELANGOR - Former health minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad is willing to give up his seat for younger candidates at his Kuala Selangor parliamentary seat in 15th General Election (GE15).

Dzulkefly said he has served the seat for two terms after GE12 and PRU14.

“Young candidates need to be featured as future leaders. If allowed, in a way honestly, I want to step back and give way to a new face in the coming GE, ”he was quoted in Sinar Harian when met at an open house here.

The 66-year-old further said it would depend on his party Amanah's leadership as they are expected to field a candidate for Kuala Selangor seat.

“The candidate fielded here must be prepared to win the seat," he added.
