Zainoldin said he was sad when he saw the various accusations thrown at him regarding the incident.

“To be honest, various allegations were made against me, including some claiming that I had shown the 'middle finger' to the motorcyclist. I would like to state that that did not happen at all.

“During the incident, I was with my wife and a grandchild. As a husband and grandfather, how could I have acted in such a way. That is a slander,” he said.

"As far as I remember, he kept on hitting me without telling me what I did that made him act in such a way towards me.

"With my condition, as a patient undergoing dialysis, I could only protect my dialysis access which is on my hand to avoid the area from being injured when he was beating me up," he said.

He added that there were also allegations that he had called several individuals to hit the motorcyclist.

“Some claimed that I called several individuals to hit the man, which is not true. At the time of the incident, I could not think of anything, the pain I had to endure was excruciating.

“I have to bear the effects of the assault until now, both physically and emotionally," he said.
