SHAH ALAM - DAP leader Anthony Loke Siew Fook has denied that he and other MPs back Bersatu President Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to become the prime minister again.

"If that is the case, he would have been sworn in as PM, right?

"That is, of course, is not true...do you think that DAP will support Muhyiddin?," he said in a text to Sinar Daily today.

His response comes after Warisan president Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal said over contents of conversation he had with Muhyiddin which claimed took place two months ago. In a video, he claimed that Muhyiddin had told him that he has secured the support of 119 MPs after negotiating with Loke and opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

In a video at Malaysiakini's website, Shafie said: "so I told him, Tan Sri if you already have enough, then you proceed. I will not follow you. Shafie was at a Warisan event in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
