KUALA LUMPUR- Karangkraf Book Group’s booth continued to garner visitors' attention even on its last day of at the 39th Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair (KLIBF) at the Kuala Lumpur World Trade Center yesterday.

The visitors took the opportunity to obtain discounted rates for every purchase of books, novels and al-Quran published by Karangkraf.

During the book fair, the presence of three public figures, independent preacher Datuk Mohd Kazim Elias; Ramlee Awang Murshid and Ustaz Mustafar Mohd Suki to promote their respective books were among the factors why Karangkraf continued to get attention on the final day of KLIBF.

Karangkraf Book Group Assistant General Manager of Sales Roziana Omar said the recorded sales also increased by 50 per cent compared to the previous KLIBF, two years ago.

"The sales are quite extraordinary, we always restock the books and Quran throughout the KLIBF, except on the last day was due to the first-come, first-serve basis," she said.

She added that the horror novel by Ramlee Awang Murshid was among the best sellers, followed by the two comics ‘Sekolah Banyak Penunggu’ and ‘Darlingku Minah Angau’ which were also among the top-selling books during the fair.

"Those who missed the KLIBF can still purchase Karangkraf products through www.karangkrafmall.com and they will get a discounted price using the VIP card," she said.
