Karangkraf wins best-designed booth at KL International Book Fair

SHAH ALAM - Karangkraf Book Group won the best-designed booth at the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair (PBAKL) 2022, winning RM1,000 in cash.

Karangkraf Book Group Deputy Chief Operating Officer Izzat Izhar Nasir said the selection of the winners was based on the creativity and design of the booth.

“We were chosen as the most beautiful booth among the other exhibitors.

"We would like to thank those who chose Karangkraf as the most beautiful and best venue for the International Book Fair this time," he said when contacted by Sinar Harian reporters on Monday.

Commenting further, he said the response to the book fair held from June 3 to June 12 was encouraging.

"In terms of sales, it was encouraging and even better than 2019. The response this time was way better than the previous years.

“Initially the publishers were a bit hesitant to open their stores as prices have increased which could lead to poor response.

"However, from the first day of the exhibition, we received an overwhelming response, "he said.

Karangkraf's top sales were novels, Islamic books, My Quran Time notebooks and also the Quran.
