This is what Warisan president Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal said after allegations that his party was involved in issuing fake identity cards.
This comes after Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) alleged that one of the Barisan Nasional component parties was involved in the matter.
"We (Warisan) have been accused of this. Now Datuk Maximus (PBS President, Datuk Seri Maximus Ongkili) has said a BN component party did it,
"White papers which were issued by an independent body have mentioned it. There is truth to it. Even Datuk Salleh has also admitted to it by calling PBS ungrateful,” he said, referring to BN and Umno senior leader and Usukan assemblyman Datuk Seri Salleh Said Keruak.
Shafie said he and Warisan were never involved in giving out identification to foreigners," he said after attending an event at Pantai Kenangan, here.
Shafie, the prime minister candidate for Warisan also called for a white paper on the matter.
The Semporna MP further said the revelation shows that they have been slandered all this while.
