SHAH ALAM - Perikatan Nasional (PN) Supreme Council agrees to hold the PN Convention on Aug 27 in conjunction with the second anniversary of the party.

PN Chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the date was decided through the PN Supreme Council Meeting that was held on Wednesday night.

He said other issues discussed were the preparations to face the upcoming 15th General Elections (GE15).

"Yesterday night (Wednesday) I chaired the PN Supreme Council Meeting attended by parties presidents and members of the Supreme Council.

"I have reported several of PN's latest developments including the launch of PN Kelantan which received encouraging support from the people in Kelantan and the launch of PN Terengganu in Marang on July 30, 2022.

"The meeting discusses the important preparations for facing GE15.

"The meeting yesterday night also agreed on having the PN Convention on Aug 27 2022 in conjunction with the second anniversary celebration of PN," he said in a post on his Facebook on Thursday.

Previously, Muhyiddin officiated the launch of Kelantan State Level PN Ceremony in Tanah Merah in conjunction with the Malaysian Family Aspiration Tour in the state.

Also present were Kelantan PN Liaison Board Chairman Datuk Ahmad Yakob and the party’s leadership.
