SHAH ALAM - Malaysia recorded 4,271 new Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the total cases to 4.639 mil.

According to CovidNow portal, four deaths were reported, including one 'brought-in-dead' (BID). The country has recorded 35,960 deaths due to Covid.

As of yesterday, 47,014 were active cases with 96.8 per cent or 45,487 undergoing home quarantine.

A total of 1,446 are admitted to the hospital with 62 in the intensive care unit (ICU), 34 of them requiring breathing assistance.

The portal also reported a total of 5,553 cases of recovery yesterday.
