SHAH ALAM - Amanah is confident that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob will fulfill three more demands in the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed last September between the government and Pakatan Harapan.

Amanah president Mohamad Sabu said far the anti-hopping bill has been tabled and approved.

"Other promises include limiting the prime minister's tenure to 10 years and political financing bill.

"We hope (these demands) will be achieved before the election," he told reporters after attending Sinar PM's programme to mark Sinar Harian's 16th anniversary here on Monday.

The PH Presidential Council in a statement on Friday had said with the passing of anti-hopping laws, 83.3 percent of the agreement in the MoU have been achieved, with three more that needs to be looked into.

He said PH is now in the early stage of discussing seat allocation. "The seat where Amanah wants to contest has not been decided yet. We will decide together with PH.

"We will announce once completed," he said.
