Malaysia records 3,213 new Covid-19 cases, eight deaths

SHAH ALAM - Malaysia records 3,213 new Covid-19 cases today which brings the total number of Covid-19 cases to 4,683,266 since the pandemic began.
CovidNow reported of the 3,213 new infections, 11 were imported cases.
A total of 8 deaths were recorded, with 2 brought in dead cases.
In the past 24 hours, a total of 3,847 recoveries were recorded with cumulative number of 4,602,625 Covid-19 patients recovered since the pandemic began.
Currently, active cases amount to 44,664 cases of which 43,080 or 96.5 per cent patients were home-quarantined, 1,510 patients hospitalised with 33 patients needed ventilation support.
