SHAH ALAM - A total of 40,989 youths aged 18 and above have been automatically registered as voters in the July 2022 Supplementary Electoral Roll.

Election Commission (EC) secretary Datuk Ikmalrudin Ishak said the total was verified on Monday and gazetted on Tuesday.

He said voters could check their registration status from Aug 16 to Sept 14.

He said the electoral roll also involved 13,481 registered voters who have changed constituencies.

"A total of 13,481 registered voters have changed constituencies and 4,116 voters chose to change the status or category of voters," he said in a statement on Tuesday.

Ikmalrudin said if there were individuals from the above group who were not listed in the electoral roll, they can make a claim by filling in Form C through its website or visit the state EC office concerned.

He said if there were voters who were unsatisfied with the changes to their constituency, they could submit an objection by filling in form D.

"Form C and Form D could also be downloaded from the state election offices' portal and must be submitted to the relevant state election director concerned during office hours on any working day during the review period," he said.
