The 35-year-old also missed out on her schooling life.
Today, Perak DAP chief Nga Kor Ming with three other leaders visited Zaitun to hand out a confectionary-making machine worth RM3,500 and RM2,500 cash.
Despite her challenges, she is well-known for being self-reliant and for selling doughnuts and kuih muih at Padang Polo Ipoh.
The handouts by DAP were given to ease her burden and boost her business, said Nga.
Other DAP leaders present were Canning assemblywoman Jenny Choy, Jelapang assemblyman Cheah Pou Hian and Kepayang assemblyman Dr Ko Chong Sin.
