SHAH ALAM - In conjunction with the upcoming Malaysia Day celebration, Milo will kick-off a month-long Van Unity Tour nationwide in its #MalaysiaBolehBersamaMILO campaign to celebrate the spirit of unity and tenacity of Malaysians.

Throughout the campaign, the iconic Milo vans will be spreading goodness with its refreshing and energising chocolate malt beverage for free to everyone.

The vans that will be travelling around the country across key locations were now equipped with solar panel which was a new feature as part of Milo's ongoing sustainability effort.

Nestle (Malaysia) Bhd chief executive officer Juan Aranols said having grown alongside the country for over 70 years, Milo has become integral to the daily lives of Malaysians, much of it owing to the unity that it fostered through the Milo vans.

"As part of that growth, we want to take the Milo vans into a sustainable future by introducing the eco-friendly solar panels which help to reduce noise pollution and carbon emissions.

"Bringing the Milo vans with solar panels closer to the community is our way of spreading awareness on the importance of protecting the environment, while continuing to serve the same great tasting Milo that Malaysians have come to love for generations,” he said.

During the campaign period, Malaysians would also be treated to free Milo drinks with the order of predetermined meals at any of the eight restaurant chains across 1,400 participating outlets nationwide.

In the finale on Malaysia Day, Milo will culminate in an energetic celebration at Dataran Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur, which will include the Larian Malaysia Boleh Bersama Milo, which is a 2.5-kilometre fun run for a fun-filled day for the whole family.
