SHAH ALAM - The two-state solution is a Zionist propaganda to buy time until its goals are achieved.

Fellow of the Royal Historical Society United Kingdom (UK) Professor Dr Abd Al-Fattah El-Awaisi said the two-state solution was just a dream which will not happen.

"In reality, when you read about Zionism and their ambitions, I realised that this has no possible outcome.

"This peace process is managing the conflict for the one who is superior to achieve which basically means buying time until they achieve their goals," he said in an exclusive interview with Sinar Daily, today.

Al-Fattah also expressed his utmost disappointment on the absence of the leadership role in Palestine.

"It is very painful for me as a Palestinian to say that we do not have a proper leader who fight for the Palestinian interest.

"This is the reality of studying the product of Oslo Accord, basically Israel needs an agent to protect its own security and what Oslo produces is an agent not for the Palestinians," he said.

Commenting further, Al-Fattah said it was very saddening to realise that president of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas at the age of 87, was still trying his best to play his role.

"The Israeli and Americans are forced to appoint Mahmoud Abbas as the Prime Minister of Palestine after the death of Yasser Arafat as there will be a problem of whom will be the successor," he said.
