SERDANG - Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Rina Harun will propose nursery allocations that will be tabled in Budget 2023.

The allocation, she said, would be given to mothers so that the expenses for their children’s nursery could be taken care of.

"Kindergarten or nursery expenses are excessively high these days where it could reach RM900 just for three kids.

"How can women go out to earn the money if they need to take care of their kids at home as well?

"To bare their expenses, we have decided to give the allocations and it will be tabled in the Budget 2023," she said.

Meanwhile, Rina said that no other Prime Minister could have handled the Covid-19 pandemic season other than Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

"Two years back, the nation was suffering from the Covid-19 virus and Tan Sri (Muhyiddin_ really handled it well even in his short tenure.

"PN was developed during the pandemic season and it was a victory for us in surviving and taking care of the nation as well. I could not see any other PM who could have handled the situation well," she said.

She said this while speaking in a closing speech at the PN Convention 2022 and the 2nd PN Anniversary celebration at the Serdang Malaysia Agricultural Expo Park (MAEPS) here on Saturday.
