He said the fact was that the parties involved have used racial and religious issues to hide behind the misuse of power.
"The one who is responsible for people's money and defence is the same party that supposedly wants to defend the Malays.
"I choose the LCS issue to show the Malays that they are not being dragged down by the non-Malays.
"The cause of corruption comes when there are leaders who use racism and religion to enrich themselves," he said at PKR 2022 Election Convention on Saturday.
Rafizi had previously said the RM9 billion LCS scandal is he claimed was similar to 1Malaysia Development Berhad.
.On Aug 4, Public Accounts Committee (PAC) had said the government has paid RM6 billion but to date, none of the six ships have been delivered.
Rafizi, the PKR election director also hinted that the LCS scandal will be one of the highlights as the 15th general election (GE15) comes.
"I'm not the type to pick issues just to gain political mileage, I like to (investigate) like Detective Conan (a Japanese detective in Manga series).
"LCS is likely to be a big issue until voting day," he added.
