PUTRAJAYA- Home Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin questioned the alleged sighting of fugitive businessman Jho Low, who is currently reported to be in Disneyland, Shanghai.

He said any information regarding Jho Low or his real name, Low Taek Jho should be informed to Malaysia.

“He knows, why didn’t he inform us of the location?” he said through the Malaysia Visa Premium Program (PVIP) press conference at his ministry today.

He said this in response to a reporter’s question regarding Jho Low’s sighting at the theme park on Christmas Eve, 2019.

Jho Low's involvement in the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) scandal at the theme park was revealed by the co-author of the book 'Billion Dollar Whale: The Man Who Fooled Wall Street, Hollywood, and the World', Bradley Hope through the first episode of 'Where’s Jho Low' programme which was posted on video application platform YouTube, on Wednesday.

Through the episode, Hope together with writer Tom Wright also shared a photo that showed Jho Low with two unknown individuals at a restaurant in Disneyland, Shanghai.

Hope said that the photo allegedly was received from a reliable source on Dec 24, 2019.
